Bold Stripes With Your Mini

Hello pretty mamas!!

Welcome to MOMBY Style! (MOMBY= MOM+BABY)

Thanks for stopping by to view and read my first blog post! I know what you are thinking, “not ANOTHER mommy blogger?!” But I am telling ya, this one is going to be different! 😉

I am so excited to show you some fun mommy and me style ideas that are not cheesy or over-the-top matchy-matchy. I love the idea of coordinating looks with your bambina, while their age allows it. Because let’s face it, they won’t want you looking like them for long; and when they’re young, I just really think it is super fun! But maybe that is just the girly- girl mama in me. 🙂

When I was a tiny tot, I remember fantasizing about playing dress up with my Magic Nursery and Cabbage Patch dolls. I literally would dream about which outfits I would plan on putting them in for the next day. Now that I have my own real life babydoll, I am enjoying every moment of playing dress up. If you have followed my IG handle @mombystyle, you probably have already seen my ridiculous obsession, but now I have decided to take it to another level by incorporating the mommy+me style.

I thought I’d show mamas a fun way to dress up with out looking exactly alike in this first look/post. Lottie and I are both rocking bold blue stripes, but a completely different pattern, which I think gives it a unique style, but not over the top.

I am pretty addicted to browsing on the REVOLVE app for the latest trends and some very talented designers. My Romper is from Lovers and Friends via Revolve.com. Here is the link and it comes in black and tan as well: http://www.revolve.com/lovers-friends-charisma-jumpsuit-in-blue-stripe/dp/LOVF-WR146/?d=F&sectionURL=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.google.com%2F

And I rarely ever shop for myself at Old Navy because the clothes seem like they fall apart after I wash them once (maybe someone needs to teach this mama how to do laundry-haha), but I firmly beleive they have some of the most stylish frocks for toddlers. I found Lottie’s cute little dress from Old Navy for $7 buckaroos! Here is the link: http://oldnavy.gap.com/browse/product.do?cid=47926&vid=1&pid=490827012

Let me know what you think of this look and mommy+me style in general! I would love to hear your thoughts 🙂
