Matching for Mother’s Day

Hello again my gorgeous mamas!

The countdown to Mother’s Day is on. I can’t believe our special day is almost 2 weeks away! This will be my second Mother’s Day celebrating as an actual mama bear and it has me reflecting this last year on how much our family dynamic has changed.

I wanted to make this Mother’s Day a treasured memory to look back on, so I have been on the hunt for an adorable mommy+me look for this sweet holiday. I ran into these red lace dresses and I thought they’d be a perfect inspiration for a special occassion like this.

Lottie’s dress is from Moderne Child. This is a pretty trendy online child’s boutique where I have gotten some great baby fashion inspiration. You can find it on this link for $34 bucks: https://modernechild.com/collections/nadia-red-lace-dress/products/copy-of-nadia-eyelet-dress

You can also get their mommy version from Moderne Child which is pretty gorge here: https://modernechild.com/collections/nadia-red-lace-dress/products/nadia-white-mommy-lace-dress-1?variant=38613762894

I found my dress in a different style which coordinates with Lottie’s pretty well on a website which was recently bought out by a British company called NastyGal. You can find it on the link here: http://www.nastygal.com/isobel-crochet-dress/AGG99343-1.html?color=157

If you are not feeling red, both ModerneChild.com and NastyGal.com  offer this style in WHITE as well! I think fresh white lace for spring would be stunning on a mama and her tiny tot.

Disclaimer: I’d like to mention I have never been a size 2.  I have always had curves, so I am not a typical skinny mom blogger who doesn’t like to eat. I love to eat. I also enjoy working out and hot yoga and chips and salsa, hence, the mom bod. And thanks to breastfeeding for not allowing me to go bra-free anymore; she literally sucked the life out of them. So, my days of being a non-bra wearing hippie are over. 😉 Sorry mamas, I am pretty open & sometimes I need a filter, hence why I ventured into the mommy blogging space… It serves as my creative outlet and all of my crazy thoughts!:)

Thanks for stopping by! Let me know if you plan on twinning with your mini this Mother’s Day and if you have found any cute outfits that you have adored!

Jess! This is seriously the most fantastic thing you could ever venture into! I love reading all about it! My mini and I have at least 5 coordinating outfits. My favorite is the denim shirt matchy, matchy with our matching birks! Keep on keeping on, girlfriend! Xoxo!
